Healthcare Organization Selects Everbridge as New Emergency Notification System Contract Vendor

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 14, 2010 – Everbridge, the world’s recognized leader in incident notification systems, today announced that it has been selected by the Greater Cincinnati Health Council (Health Council) as the new contract vendor for emergency notification services. This contract enables more than 30 member hospitals in the communications area and other regional hospital associations in Ohio to leverage the Health Council’s buying power to purchase the best-in-class Everbridge Aware platform for quick and effective communication during emergency and disaster situations.

“We recognized that emergency notification was a top priority based on feedback from our member organizations,” said Tonda Francis, Vice President for the Greater Cincinnati Health Council. “After an extensive due diligence process—which included a comprehensive review of numerous emergency notification providers, a thorough assessment of vendors that our hospitals specifically recommended and an assessment of multiple criteria spanning leadership, technology, functionality, and competitive pricing—we determined that Everbridge was the best solution for our members.”

“With a long history of leadership and commitment to collaboration, the Health Council is a recognized resource for information and issues facing the healthcare industry,” said Marc Ladin, Vice President of Global Marketing for Everbridge. “Being awarded this contract by such a prestigious and respected organization with a track record of raising the quality of care at hospitals is an honor for Everbridge.”

Exclusively endorsed by the American Hospital Association, Everbridge Aware facilitates critical communications during emergencies and enables hospitals to ensure continuous communications during network outages, satisfy Joint Commission Standards of Care requirements and notify staff members of activation of a Hospital Incident Command System during a disaster.
